Multiple Wake Forest Programs Earn Perfect 1,000 Multi-Year APR Scores

The Demon Deacon women’s basketball, women’s golf and women’s tennis programs recorded perfect 1,000 multi-year scores, as announced by the NCAA on Tuesday, while four additional programs had a score of 990 or better multi-year scores.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Wake Forest Athletics had seven programs score a perfect 1,000 in the latest Yearly Academic Progress Rate scores for 2024-25 and three programs earn perfect multi-year rates for the academic years 2021-22 through 2024-25, as announced by the NCAA Tuesday afternoon.
"As we continue to fulfill our goals of providing a World Class Student-Athlete Experience and having Integrity in Academics, these scores are a testament to how hard our student-athletes work in the classroom each day," Senior Associate AD Jane Caldwell said. "I want to thank our Wake Forest faculty, coaches and my staff for their continued commitment and dedication to help our Deacs achieve success in all walks of life during their time in Winston-Salem."
The Wake Forest teams with perfect 1,000 APR scores for 2024-25 were football, men's golf, men's soccer, women's basketball, women's golf, women's tennis and volleyball.
Additionally, women's basketball, women's golf and women's tennis earned perfect 1,000 scores on the APR multi-year rate based on scores from the academic years 2021-22 through 2024-25. An additional four programs on campus were above 990 in multi-year rates (football, men's tennis, men's soccer and women's soccer).
The APR provides a real-time look at a team's academic success each semester by tracking the academic progress of each student-athlete on scholarship. The APR accounts for eligibility, retention and graduation and provides a measure of each team's academic performance.
The APR is an annual scorecard of academic achievement calculated for all Division I sports teams. The APR measures eligibility, graduation and retention each semester or academic term and provides a clear picture of the academic performance for each team in every sport.
