WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest women's golf has placed three on this year's Golfweek All-American teams, as announced by the office this past Wednesday. Junior Macy Pate and sophomore Chloe Kovelesky were named to the Third Team, graduate student Morgan Ketchum earned Honorable Mention.
The three Deacs have already earned postseason accolades this season, with the group named to the WGCA All-American teams. Additionally, Pate and Kovelesky earned spots on the All-ACC team for the second time in Kovelesky's career and third in Pate's.
Kovelesky opened the season with co-medalist honors at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate, helping the Deacs to their first title of the year. Wake Forest followed that success with another team and individual title sweep, the following weekend at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup. The Boca Raton, Fla.-native posted a T2 finish, while Pate fired a career-low 54-hole score to claim her first career title.
The two-time ANWA invitee placed in the top-15 or better in 5 of 7 tournaments during the regular season, followed by top-25 finishes at the ACC Championship and NCAA Regionals. Pate wrapped the 2025-26 season with her highest finish at the NCAA Championships at T28.
Marking a new program low during the final round, graduate student Morgan Ketchum took the co-champion title at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional, with a score of 66 (-6). The WGCA All-American completed her collegiate career ranked No. 48 on Scoreboard with four top-10 finishes and her regional victory. Ketchum averaged 70.7 across 30 rounds during the 2025-26 season, third best behind Pate and Kovelesky.
All three Deacs wrapped the 2025-26 season ranked inside the top 50 on Scoreboard, with Pate leading the team at No. 21. Kovelesky and Ketchum's efforts in Tallahassee helped the squad to the program's 60th title, while also securing Wake Forest's 11th consecutive NCAA Championship berth.
Pate and Kovelesky will team up this upcoming July at the 2026 Arnold Palmer Cup, representing Team USA.
