WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Wake Forest men's golf team announced the signing of Rasmus Ditzinger, a rising junior from Fairfield University, and Nolan Harper, a rising junior from Florida Gulf Coast University. The duo will be the final addition to the 2026-27 roster.
Rasmus Ditzinger
Including the 2026 MAAC Championship, Ditzinger won four tournaments over the 2025-26 season with a total of eight top-three finishes in 11 events, including all five of his spring outings prior to the NCAA Athens Regional.
Ditzinger was the unanimous MAAC Player of the Year and the individual MAAC Champion. He was previously named the Fairfield Athletics Men's co-Athlete of the Year in addition to an All-MAAC First Team selection.
More recently, Ditzinger collected 2026 NCAA Division I All-Northeast Region honors from PING and the Golf Coaches Association of America.
During his 2024-25 season, the Täby, Sweden native claimed All-MAAC Second Team honors and two top-10 finishes.
Nolan Harper
Harper earned First Team All-ASUN honors after competing in all 12 tournaments for the Eagles. He posted a 70.4 scoring average across 35 rounds while helping lead Florida Gulf Coast to its first ASUN Championship in program history.
The sophomore recorded eight top-15 finishes and two top-five finishes during the season, highlighted by a fourth-place finish at the Ka'anapali Classic. Harper finished the event at 16-under-par (197) after rounds of 70, 63 and 64. His second-round 63 tied the program's all-time single-round scoring record, while his 54-hole total matched the lowest score in school history.
During his freshman season in 2024-25, Harper was named the ASUN Freshman of the Year while also earning First Team All-ASUN and ASUN All-Freshman Team honors. He collected eight top-25 finishes and captured his first collegiate victory at the Old Corkscrew Intercollegiate with a seven-under-par performance.
From Coach Haas:
"Both players will add tremendous depth to the roster as they have already proven in their two years in college that they're not only excellent players, but incredible student athletes. If you look at their WAGR rankings and their Clippd rankings, they will help the Demon Deacons immediately upon their arrival on campus. Coach Van Williams and I are incredibly excited about the next couple years with the new eligibility rules and the possibility of retaining some of our guys. With the development of our two freshmen, Lorenzo and Maddux and adding one of the top players in the country in Sage Bradshaw, we're looking at a very deep and talented roster. We have an incredible schedule coming up next year and we need to be able to compete at the highest level. With the talent on this roster, we will certainly do that. Go Deacs!"
