Wake Forest Alum Scotty Kennon Records Runner-Up Finish in GProTour Debut

Kennon jumped 16 places to tie for second place at the Chatmoss Championship.
MARTINSVILLE, Va.- Wake Forest men's golf alum Scotty Kennon ('25) made his GProTour debut this week at the Chatmoss Championship in Martinsville, Va.
In the first round of play, Kennon went two under-par on the front nine before finishing the back nine at even par. He finished round one at two-under-par.
On day two, Kennon saw highs and lows as he penciled in five birdies across 18 holes. He wrapped round two with a score of 70 and inside the top-20.
The Wake Forest alum came out strong in the third and final round. He tallied four birdies before making the turn, landing him at three-under. Kennon carded two more birdies on the final nine holes to post a final round score of 65.
Completing the tournament at seven-under, the two-time All-ACC honoree jumped 16 spots and secured a second place finish in his GProTour Debut.
