Davaughn Patterson Named To Senior Bowl Watch List

The standout defensive back earned All-ACC Honorable Mention honors in 2025 as he recorded 80 tackles along with nine passes defensed.
MOBILE, Ala. — Wake Forest defensive back Davaughn Patterson has been named to the Panini Senior Bowl's Watch List, as announced by the bowl Thursday morning.
The Senior Bowl is the premiere college football all-star game played annually in Mobile, Ala., showcasing the best NFL Draft prospects.
A 2025 All-ACC Honorable Mention selection, Patterson last season appeared in all 13 games for the Demon Deacons recording 80 tackles (35 solo) along with nine passes defended, four tackles for loss and one fumble forced.
His nine passes defended led Wake Forest and ranked sixth in the ACC. Additionally, his 753 snaps played were sixth-most in the conference.
In addition to his All-ACC Honorable Mention selection, Patterson was also named ACC Defensive Back of the Week and to Pro Football Focus' Team of the Week following a standout performance in the victory over SMU as he led Wake Forest with seven tackles, three pass breakups and a forced fumble.
Over the last three seasons, the Jacksonville, Fla., native has appeared in 29 games for the Demon Deacons totaling 163 tackles, 12 passes defended, two fumbles forced and an interception.
