Wake Forest Women’s Golf Announces 2026-27 Schedule

The squad wrapped the 2025-26 season ranked No. 8 by Scoreboard.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Tony and Vi Golding Head Coach Kim Lewellen and Lyons Family Associate Head Coach Ryan Potter have announced the Wake Forest women's golf 2026-27 season.
Wake Forest makes its return to the ANNIKA Intercollegiate this September to open the fall slate, looking to defend both team and individual titles. The Deacs make a quick turn around for the Jackson T. Stephens Cup, which takes place this year in Frisco, Texas.
The Demon Deacons round the fall schedule in October at Finley Golf Club for the Ruth's Chris Intercollegiate, followed by the Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, N.C.
In January, Deacs will go international for the Collegiate Invitational in Guadalajara, Mexico. They'll resume stateside tournaments at the Moon Golf Invitational on Feb. 14 at Suntree C.C.
March marks an action-packed month, starting with the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate in Hilton Head, S.C. The following week sees the Deacs out west for the Juli Inkster Invitational at TPC Harding Park. Wake Forest closes out the month at the Charles Schwab Women's Spring Collegiate in Fort Worth, Texas.
This April, the ACC Championship returns to nearby Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. Wake Forest. After winning both individual and team titles at the NCAA Tallahassee Regionals in 2026, the Demon Deacons will look to repeat regional success May 10-12 (location TBA) and a return to the national stage. The 2027 NCAA Championship heads back to La Costa Resort on May 21-26 in Carlsbad, Calif. to crown a new champion.

2025-26 Season Highlights
- Reached 60 program wins, while Tony and Vi Golding Head Coach and Lyons Family Associate Head Coach Ryan Potter achieved 30 wins as a coaching duo.
- Captured back-to-back wins at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate and the Jackson T. Stephens Cup.
- Handed No. 1 Stanford their lone stroke play loss and one of two match play losses at the Stephens Cup.
- Earned their spot at the 2026 NCAA Championships by claiming the NCAA Tallahassee Regional at 8-under-par.
- Carded their season low 18-hole score during round three, at 10-under (278).
- Captured back-to-back wins at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate and the Jackson T. Stephens Cup.
- As a team, earned a combined four individual wins, nine top-5 placements, and 17 top-10 finishes. The group totaled 23 individual rounds in the 60s across the fall and spring.
- Junior Macy Pate won first collegiate title at the Stephens Cup, while Chloe Kovelesky earned her second as a co-medalist at the ANNIKA.
- Both earned All-ACC team nods and a spot on Team USA at the Arnold Palmer Cup. Additionally, participated in the 2026 ANWA, both making the 30-player cut to compete at Augusta National.
- Pate led the squad with a scoring average of 71.70, wrapping the season ranked No. 22 on Scoreboard.
- Freshman Cartoon Rujiranan secured her first career win as an individual at the UNCG Collegiate.
- Graduate student Morgan Ketchum fired a 66 (-6) during the final round of the NCAA Tallahassee Regional to secure the co-champ title and her first win as a Deac.
- Junior Macy Pate won first collegiate title at the Stephens Cup, while Chloe Kovelesky earned her second as a co-medalist at the ANNIKA.
- Ketchum's 66 (-6) in the final round secured her co-champ title, with a 54-hole score of 209 (-7). The Winston-Salem, N.C.-native's 18-hole score today set a program record at regionals for the lowest third round score of a Deac, overtaking Jennifer Kupcho at 67 (-5) in 2018.
