Haberer Earns Second Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar Honor

Additionally, Haberer earned All-ACC academic honors for the third consecutive year.
NORMAN, Okla. – Rising senior Tom Haberer was named 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar, as announced by the GCAA on Monday.
649 NCAA Division I athletes from 210 schools earned 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar honors. To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate's degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2.
Haberer secured his first collegiate victory by two strokes with a 203 (-13) at the Palmas del Mar Collegiate, matching the eighth-lowest 54-hole score to par in program history. His performance named him ACC Golfer of the Month, becoming the first Demon Deacon to earn the honor since Michael Brennan in 2021.
In his third postseason appearance, the German carded a 69 (-3) in round one of the ACC Championship and finished tied for 33rd at four-over. At the NCAA Winston-Salem Regional, he surged 12 spots up the leaderboard during the final round with a two-under 69 to finish tied for 42nd overall.
Haberer ended his junior season with a season scoring average of 70.5.
