Nearing the end of the PGA Tour season, Brennan earns his first win in 2026
GREENSBORO, N.C.- Michael Brennan claimed his second PGA TOUR victory on Sunday, capturing the Wyndham Championship by three strokes at Sedgefield Country Club.
After three under-par rounds, Brennan entered Sunday's final round tied in first place at 16 under-par.
Brennan began Sunday with three even pars before going for five consecutive birdies. He finished his front nine with an even par on the ninth hole and sat in first with a 21 under par and three stroke lead.
Despite carding a bogey on hole 11, Brennan recorded two birdies in the back nine. Brennan closed with a final-round 64 and earned his victory.
Brennan carves his name as the fifth Demon Deacon to win at the Wyndham Championship. Brennan and Cam Young are the first Wake Forest duo to go back-to-back at the Wyndham Championship.
With Sunday's win, Brennan climbs 58 spots to No. 47 in the FedExCup standings and rises to No. 58 in the OWGR.
