Was WFU[apos]s top scorer at last spring[apos]s ACC Championship with a seventh place finish at Old North State Club at New London, N.C. . . . Has played in three NCAA Championships during his career . . . Shot a final round 6-under 66 at the NCAA West Regional to finish with a 54-hole total of 13-under 203 . . . Enjoyed a successful summer on the golf course... won the Virginia State Amateur at the Cascades Course at the Homestead in Hot Springs, Va... won five rounds of match play to earn the title... finished eighth one week later at the Eastern Amateur in Portsmouth, Va. ... shot 70-68-67-70 at Elizabeth Manor Golf Club... qualified for the prestigious U.S. Amateur at the Independence Golf Club in Richmond, Va. after shooting a 69-70... failed to make match play upon reaching Hazeltine... 2005-06
