SUMMER, 2005: Participated in the prestigious United States Amateur in Philadelphia... qualified for that event after shooting a 71-67--138 at Oak Valley Country Club.
2004-05: Played in three tournaments including two when he played as an individual... had a stroke average of 79.67... four of his six competitive rounds counted toward the team score... played as an individual at the Hall of Fame Invitational in Texas... shot a 77-77-78--232.
2003-04: Saw action in two tournaments for the Deacons... shot a then career-best 76 in the opening round of the Schenkel and finished with a three-day 237 (72nd place)... placed 92nd at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate... shot a 77 in the final round of that event.
2002-03: Saw action in two events as a rookie... participated in The Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate as an individual, placing 73rd with a 240... also competed at the Tulane Invitational, placing 41st as the team captured first place... compiled a 79.5 stroke average for the year... shot a season-low 77 twice.
BEFORE WFU: Saw action in several amateur events over the summer before coming to WFU... placed fourth in the Forsyth Amateur... also participated in the Carolinas Amateur... a three-time all-state selection who won the individual North Carolina 2-A state championship twice... led his high school team to back-to-back state titles as well... a four-time all-conference pick... member of the National Honor Society... served as President of the Fury Boys service club.
