· Sister, Alyssa, played college basketball at Maryland (2011-14) and was an All-American and the three-time ACC Player of the Year, who currently is a member of the WNBA's Connecticut Sun
· Has a younger sister, Alexia
· Entered high school as a 6-4 freshman and grew five inches by his senior year
