Hauser And Whitfield Promoted
March 23, 2001 WINSTON-SALEM - Wake Forest University will make several changes within the Demon Deacon athletic department, athletic director Ron Wellman announced today.
- Dan Hauser was promoted to director of marketing and promotions. Hauser previously served as the assistant director in that department.
- Davis Whitfield was promoted to the position of assistant athletic director for operations.
- Craig Keilitz will assume the position of associate athletic director for marketing and promotions. Keilitz, who previously directed the Wake Forest compliance office, replaces Joel Nielsen, who resigned to become athletic director at Colorado College.
Hauser, who is in his third year in the WFU athletic department, works closely with all ticket and game promotions surrounding Wake Forest athletics.
Whitfield served the previous two years as director of operations, supervising all athletic facilities and WFU-hosted events.
Keilitz, who came to Wake Forest in 1996, previously worked as associate athletic director for compliance and internal operations at WFU. |
