Men's Hoops Coach Dave Odom To Speak Monday Night

Slated as part of 'Wake Forest Days' celebration.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Dave Odom, who just completed his 11th season as Wake Forest's head basketball coach, will speak at Etowah Valley Country Club in Hendersonville (N.C.) on Monday (May 8) as part of 'Wake Forest Days.'

Activities begin at noon Monday with a golf event, followed by a 6 p.m. reception and dinner. Odom will speak following dinner. Individuals interested in attending should call the Wake Forest University alumni office at 336.758.4278.

Odom helped lead the Deacons to the 2000 NIT championship after beating Notre Dame in the finals. The Goldsboro (N.C.) native will enter his 12th season as Wake Forest's head coach and his 14th season overall as a head coach in 2000-01.
