Statement From Wake Forest Athletics Director Ron Wellman

Wellman to stay at Wake Forest after being offered job at Arizona State.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - One of the benefits of an experience like this one is that it causes you to step back and evaluate your current position thoroughly. With my decision to stay at Wake Forest University, I obviously believe that I have one of the best athletic director's jobs in the nation. Arizona State is also in that category. I appreciate their interest in me but I am very excited about our future at Wake Forest and have concluded that this is the best place for me.
