Michael Bertsch begins his fourth year in the Wake Forest. He is the media contact for baseball, cross country and men's soccer. He came to Wake Forest in 2003 after working at UNC Greensboro and Marshall.
Bertsch is the editor of Courtside magazine, the Wake Forest basketball yearbook. The 2005-06 edition played third nationally in a contest conducted by CoSIDA.
Bertsch earned his undergraduate degree from Walsh University in 1998 and a master's degree in sports administration from Marshall in 2001. He is a native of Akron, Ohio.
