Greg Collins is in his 20th year as head athletic trainer at Wake Forest, including his 14th season as Assistant Athletic Director.
Collins joined the Demon Deacon athletic program in January of 1997 as supervisor of the overall sports medicine staff that supports all 18 varsity teams at the university. Collins works closely with the football and men's basketball teams.
Collins is also a member of the sports medicine faculty at Wake Forest.
Prior to arriving at Wake Forest, Collins served as the head athletic trainer at the University of Richmond, where he was responsible for coordinating the day-to-day sports medicine needs of a 21-sport intercollegiate program.
Collins is a 1989 graduate of Kansas State where he earned his degree in physical education. He also earned a master's from Richmond.
Collins and his wife, Carrie, have a six-year-old son, Drew. They reside in Winston-Salem with their Samoyed, Dakota.
