Seth Youngblood joined Demon Deacon athletics in November 2011. He serves in student-sthlete services as an assistant director and academic counselor for the football team.
Youngblood is responsible for monitoring the academic performance of Wake Forest student-athletes and helping them to fulfill their undergraduate academic requirements. He also coordinates study hall and tutors and aids in the development of time management skills for the student-athletes.
A native of Garner, N.C., Youngblood previously served on campus as an academic counselor in the Wake Forest office of academic advising. He was also a tutor and study coach for student-athlete services.
Youngblood earned a degree in psychology from NC State in 2005. He went on to earn a master's degree in counselor cducation from Clemson in 2008. During his time at NC State, Youngblood was an academic counselor intern for the Wolfpack football program.
Youngblood and his wife, Megan, reside in Winston-Salem with their son Peyton and dog Fenway.
