Player Bio: Mike Vest :: Genrel
Mike Vest enters his seventh year in the media relations office, his third year as associate director and as the media contact for football.
He previously worked with the Wake Forest baseball and men's soccer programs. Vest was the media coordinator for the 2002 NCAA Winston-Salem regional.
Vest has also served as editor of Kickoff, the gameday program of Wake Forest football. The 2003 publication finished fifth nationally in a contest conducted by CoSIDA, while the 2002 program placed sixth.
Vest graduated from the University of Kansas in 2000 with a degree in journalism and worked three years as an undergraduate assistant in the Jayhawk sports information office. He is a native of Overland Park, Kan.
