ACC Sportsmanship Award

In 2008, the ACC began a new initiative to reward sportsmanship throughout the conference. Instead of one team winning for each sport every season, the conference now awards one male and one female individual plus one team award per year. Individuals and teams are nominated by their school and selected by the ACC office.
Wake Forest's ACC Sportsmanship Award Recipients: Prior to the creation of this award, the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) established the ACC Sportsmanship Award during the 2003-04 academic year. The Sportsmanship Award was sponsored for all sports and recognized the team that conducted itself with a high degree of character and good sportsmanship, coaches included.
