What are the remaining options for tickets previously purchased?

For those who have not yet made a decision regarding their 2020 season ticket purchase, or their Notre Dame game ticket purchase, there are three options:

Donate season ticket purchases to the Sustain the Deacs fund.

Roll over season ticket purchases to the 2021 season.

Receive a full or partial refund on season ticket purchases.

INDIVIDUAL GAME TICKETS DETAILS:

Will season ticket holders have priority when single game tickets go on sale?
-
Yes. Wake Forest Athletics plans to give those who had already ordered 2020 season tickets priority during single game the on-sale windows throughout the season. All games where fan attendance is permitted for the 2020 Demon Deacon home football season will be sold on an individual basis.

How will student tickets be handled?

Athletics worked in coordination with SGA and the Athletic Student Leadership Council to develop a ticketing plan for students.

This process will be managed through a weekly student ticket lottery within the new Screamin’ Demon Rewards program.

SEATING CAPACITY QUESTIONS:

When will more information be available on capacity limits?
-
Wake Forest will continue to monitor all aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic and will rely on guidance from both federal and state levels regarding safety procedures. Athletics is currently following the anticipated orders of Governor Cooper in permitting attendance of up to 7% of Truist Field’s capacity.

How are tickets allocated in accordance with capacity limitations?

Wake Forest will offer those who previously purchased 2020 season tickets the opportunity to obtain tickets on an individual-game basis, as inventory comes available throughout the season.

The process for prioritization took into account the following guiding principles:
-
Safety of fans and student-athletes.
-
Transparency of information and process.
-
Flexibility through the Ticket Purchase Assurance Program.

Prioritizing player families and students.
-
Accommodating as many season ticket holders as possible.
-
Fair and objective system of allocation based upon contracted seats, Deacon Club priority, and years of purchase.

Ticket allocation process will be finalized and explained in a separate communication by Monday, September 28.

Will my family be able to sit together?
-

Tickets will be distributed in seating clusters of two tickets, with only tickets purchased from one account included together. Ticket holders are required to sit in their reserved seats and may not interact with fans located in other seating clusters while in the seating bowl.

What is the status of seating and tickets on Deacon Hill?

Wake Forest does not plan to sell tickets on Deacon Hill for this season.

Deacon Hill is serving as the home to the Spirit of the Old Gold and Black and the Wake Forest Spirit Programs for this season.

Will my Football Seat Rights or McCreary Tower contracted location be held until next season?

Yes, contracts in good standing will carry over and previous seat assignments will be kept for the 2021 season, regardless of which of the three aforementioned options are selected for 2020. The term expiration date will be extended one year.

Why are ticket donations an important option for Wake Forest Athletics?

Wake Forest is encouraging fans, who are able, to continue to invest in helping Athletics provide a World Class Student-Athlete Experience by transferring their ticket purchases to charitable contributions that directly impact Demon Deacon student-athletes. These gifts will not only provide student-athletes with the opportunity to receive a degree from Wake Forest University, but also assist with critical resources within Career Development, Nutrition, Mental and Physical Health and Athletic Training.

Can fans donate a portion of a season ticket order?

Yes, Wake Forest has the ability to convert a portion, or all, of a season ticket order to a donation.

Can fans rollover their 2020 season ticket order to the 2021 season?

Yes, Wake Forest can rollover your season ticket order towards your 2021 season ticket order.

Can I receive a refund?

Deacon Nation’s satisfaction is extremely important to Wake Forest and all options, including a refund, can be explored.

GAME PREPARATIONS:

What safety protocols are being taken to keep fans safe at games?
-
A comprehensive plan has been developed with local health officials. The plan takes into account many of the precautions currently recommended by the CDC.

Face masks or face coverings will be required.
-
Reduced capacity for seating to allow for social distancing.
-
Stadium signage and markings to help encourage social distancing.
-
Mobile ticketing for a more touchless environment.
-
Increased cleaning and sanitation of high touchpoints.
-
Additional hand sanitizer dispensers installed throughout Truist Field.

All credentialed working staff are being health screened and temperature checked.

What about my season parking pass(es)?

Parking will be limited this fall to account for social distancing. Athletics is handling previously purchased parking passes the same as season tickets, and fans may elect to donate, roll over, or refund that order.

Are there single-game parking passes available for purchase?
-
Yes, Wake Forest will have single-game parking available to purchase during the ticket on-sale. Exact lots and priority limits are yet to be determined.

What is the policy on tailgating?

Tailgating will not be permitted this season at Truist Field in any parking areas around the stadium or along Deacon Boulevard.

2020 FOOTBALL SCHEDULE:

What is the 2020 football schedule?
-
Truist Field at Wake Forest will host Campbell (Friday, Oct. 2), Virginia (Saturday, Oct. 17), Virginia Tech (Saturday, Oct. 24) and Miami (Saturday, Nov. 28).

Meanwhile, the Duke's Mayo Classic vs. Notre Dame will be played on Saturday, December 12.

Are tickets available for purchase to away games?
-
Wake Forest does not anticipate receiving inventory to sell away game tickets due to reduced capacities at all stadiums. A limited allotment would likely only cover student-athlete families on the team pass list.

Fans would be encouraged to purchase tickets directly through the home team’s box office, if available.

Update on Duke’s Mayo Classic vs. Notre Dame:

The Duke’s Mayo Classic vs. Notre Dame has been rescheduled for December 12th and any relevant ticketing information will be available closer to the game.

The Ticket Purchase Assurance program applies to the Notre Dame game as well, and fans can be assured that their tickets are eligible for a donation, credit, or refund if they are unable to attend the game.
