2024-25 Men's Basketball Floor Seat Code of Conduct

As a Wake Forest Floor Seats holder for basketball games in Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum, I understand and agree that the special visibility of my seat(s) requires that I comply with specific rules that apply to my seat.

1) I understand and agree to comply with the spectator conduct requirements of Wake Forest University, which include: “In the interest of providing an enjoyable and positive atmosphere for all spectators, Wake Forest Athletics requires that the bearer of a ticket behave in a responsible and considerate manner. Vulgar and abusive language, physical actions that threaten the safety of the competitors and other spectators, persons intoxicated by alcohol or other drugs, and those who behave in a disorderly manner will not be tolerated. Individuals displaying such conduct will be asked to leave the premises.“Wake Forest University reserves the right to revoke and/or refuse to sell tickets to any individual, including a season ticket holder, Floor Seat holder, Gold Seat holder or Super Seat holder, who violates this code of conduct…”

2) I will take action to ensure that individuals seated in the Floor Seats wear Wake Forest or neutral colored apparel

3) In order to not interrupt play and in courtesy of other spectators and student athlete safety, we ask that you only exit and/or enter the seating area during pregame, timeouts, halftime and postgame.

4) I understand and agree that individuals seated in the Floor Seats will not physically threaten or approach any referee or athlete, or otherwise interfere during game play. Such actions could result in a technical foul being assessed against Wake Forest.

5 ) I understand and agree that items will not be thrown on the court or at a participant or referee, as this could result in a technical foul against Wake Forest.

6) I understand that game officials or referees may, within conference and NCAA rules, ask game management officials to remove any spectator from any seat who they deem to be threatening in any manner to the safety of the participants in a contest.

7) If an individual sitting in a Floor Seat is cited in the above manner or if Wake Forest receives a technical foul assessed because of the actions of any individual sitting in a Floor Seat, serious action will be taken against both the individual who commits such an offense and the Floor Seat holder. Such action might include ejection from the contest, suspension from future contests, or forfeiture of future rights to purchase the seat.

8) Floor Seat holders have the best seats in the house. The visibility of the seats means that Floor Seat holders will go a long way towards providing a home court advantage for Wake Forest’s teams. We ask that you be considerate to this spirit when you determine your guests for specific games, especially Wake Forest’s archrivals. In addition, if you are not going to use your seats for any particular game, please consider returning your tickets to the athletic development office and we will use them for development purposes, making sure that a Demon Deacon fan is sitting in the seats for a game for which you might not otherwise be able to use the tickets.
