Earned All-West Coast Conference Honorable Mention honors … Started all 33 of his appearances and logged 991 minutes of action … Averaged team highs with 15.2 points per game and 207 made field goals … Ranked fourth on the team in three point field goals (41) … Was the only Cougar to score more than 500 points on the season … Led Washington State in scoring 16 times … Reached the 20-point mark 10 times including a season-high 27 points against Iowa (Nov. 15) and San Diego (Jan. 16) … Made his Washington State debut scoring 17 points to go along with five assists and two steals against Portland State (Nov. 4) … Had a 10-game stretch in which he collected a double-digit point total … Totaled 145 assists on the season, second most on the team … Dished out a season-high 11 assists in his final appearance of the season against San Francisco (March 9). 

2023-24 (Washington)
Appeared in 16 games, totalling 66 points with 13 assists, nine rebounds and eight steals … Made his Washington debut against Bellarmine (Nov. 6), recording 13 points with four assists and four steals … Contributed 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting against Nevada (Nov. 12) … Finished the campaign with a season-high 15 points against Arizona (Feb. 24).  

2022-23 (Lamar)
Southland Conference Freshman of the Year … Was just the second player in program history to earn Southland Freshman of the Year honors … Ranked third in the conference in scoring at 17.6 points per game … Finished the regular season portion of the slate as the nation’s second-leading freshman scorer behind Alabama’s Brandon Miller … Started all 31 games … Shot 48 percent from the field while knocking down 61-of-166 (.367) three-point attempts … Ended the season just outside the league's top five in three-point field-goal percentage and ranked eighth in the league in three-point field goals per game … Reached double figures 26 times, including 15 20-point outings and had two 30 point outings … Scored 31 against Our Lady of the Lady and bested that with a career-high 32 points against Houston Christian … His 15 games of at least 20 points also ranked among the national leaders for freshmen.

High School 
A 4A All-State selection ... Named Arizona Region Player of the Year after averaging better than 31 points and dishing out nearly five assists per game ... Also received Arizona Finest Mixtape Player of the Year honors ... Guided Mesquite to a 27-3 (.900) overall record and a perfect mark in district play, and the first state title in school history ... Just as impressive as the state title win, Calmese had the play of the day when he batted away a full court pass, picked up the loose ball and heaved it in the air from beyond half court as the buzzer sounded for the game-winning shot ... The play was recognized by ESPN as the SportsCenter top 10 Play of the Day ... Defensively, he averaged better than five rebounds and nearly three steals per game as a senior.
