Was fourth on the team and 23^rd overall at the Charlotte Opener (8/30) in 20:02.6 over the 5K course.

Personal: Daughter of Andrew and Heather Hays . . . Has volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House of Wilmington and works with the Strive leadership group.

High School: A 2019 graduate of The Tatnall School . . . Team captain . . . Four-time first team all-state in cross country . . . Three-time first team all-state in indoor track and won four first team all-state honors in outdoor track . . . Won 15 individual state titles . . . Ran cross country for Coach Patrick Castagno and helped the Hornets to three state championships and a runner-up finish . . . Helped Tatnall School win four state outdoor championships . . . Four-time state cross country individual champion . . . Won the outdoor 800, 1600, and 3200 meters as a freshman, sophomore and junior . . . Won the indoor 1600 meters twice and was on three 4x800 state champs and two 4x400.
