Alyse King joined the Wake Forest Athletics Sports Medicine staff in Feb. 2022. Prior to that, she worked at North Carolina State University on its Sports Medicine staff from 2014-22. She was the Associate Head Football Athletic Trainer for the Wolfpack. 

Prior to joining the Wolfpack, King was the Assistant Athletic Trainer for Football at the University of South Alabama.

A native of Clayton, OH, she graduated cum laude from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training. She then spent two years as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for football at Ohio University where she received her Master's degree in the nationally accredited Post Professional Athletic Training program.

King is also a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician (Intermediate/Advanced).

King is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and served as the inaugural chair of the National Athletic Training Students' Committee.
