Charles Weinberg joins the Demon Deacon equipment staff in the fall of 2022 from Missouri State and helps run daily Wake Forest football practices, lead the maintenance and upkeep of helmets and shoulder pads and help in gameday responsibilities.
He is set to enter his second season with the program in 2023.
In addition to his experience at Missouri State, Weinberg made stops in Charlotte, Tulsa and Marshall’s football equipment rooms. In these roles, Weinberg oversaw all day-to-day operation, assisted in all ordering, issuing, and management of budgets for numerous sports, organized and oversaw practice and practice set-up and managed groups of student assistants and interns.
In addition to his experience in football, Weinberg spent the 2016 with the Dayton Dragons as a clubhouse manager.
Weinberg graduated Cum Laude with a bachelors in Sports Management and Marketing from Marshall in 2014. He also earned a masters from Wright State University in 2018. Additionally, he is an AEMA Certified member.
