Conlan Sodrosky joined the Sports Medicine staff as an assistant athletic trainer in August 2020, working closely with the Demon Deacon football team.
Sodrosky comes to Wake Forest after gaining pro sports experience at his previous two stops. During the 2020 season, he was an assistant athletic trainer for the New York Guardians in the XFL. There Sodrosky assisted in injury evaluations and injury progressions while also overseeing the sports medicine inventory and directing travel logistics of medical supplies for practices and games.
Prior to working with the Guardians, Sodrosky served on the athletic training staff for the Atlanta Falcons during the 2019 season. With the Falcons, he helped athletes with therapeutic exercises and the overall rehabilitation process. Sodrosky also oversaw the travel gear for the athletic training staff.
Before working at the pro level, Sodrosky worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at South Carolina. He worked closely with both the Gamecocks’ football and track & field programs during 2018 and 2019.
Sodrosky earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Penn State in 2017. He went on to receive a master’s degree in advanced athletic training from South Carolina in 2019.
