Jay Haesker begins his second season with Wake Forest as a recruiting fellow. In 2014-15, Haesker served as an operations assistant where he managed travel rosters, hotel assignments and flight manifests.

A 2012 graduate of North Carolina, Haesker was a recruiting and football operations assistant for the Tar Heels as an undergrad. He earned his masters of science in sports and entertainment management from South Carolina in May 2014. While with the Gamecocks, he was a graduate assistant in recruiting where he tracked and analyzed prospective recruits.

A native of Raleigh, Haesker attended Wakefield High School where he played tight end.
