Joe Jordan enters his first season as a recruiting assistant for the Wake Forest football program, joining the Demon Deacons in December 2019.
Prior to coming to Winston-Salem, he spent two seasons at Fairleigh Dickinson, working as a football recruiting graduate assistant and assistant defensive backs coach.
In his role with the Knights, he recruited multiple states including visiting over 80 high schools in New Jersey during the 2018 fall season alone. Jordan also planned in-season recruiting visits for recruiting and during games working in a quality control and offensive personnel role.
In addition to his recruiting role, Jordan analyzed opponent game film, led film sessions and helped develop game plans during the week.
Jordan earned his bachelor’s degree in sports communications with a minor in business from Marist College in 2017. He went on to receive a master’s degree in sports administration from Fairleigh Dickinson in 2019.
At Marist, Jordan played in 43 games at wide receiver from 2013-2016. He was also a two-time PFL Academic Honor Roll member.
