Maggie Mullen joined the Wake Forest football staff as the Director, On-Campus Recruiting on Coach Jake Dickert’s staff in August 2025. 

A former college student-athlete, Mullen previous worked at Western Carolina as the Director of Recruiting in 2024 and 2025.
 
Mullen spent 2023 working with the football coaching staff at Wingate University, her alma mater, serving as the graduate assistant for on-campus recruiting. In that role, she was also instrumental in providing content and managing the team's social media. She also earned experience as an intern with the Coastal Carolina football recruiting staff in the summer of 2021.
 
While an undergraduate student, Mullen spent four years working with Wingate Athletics Communications department filling various roles throughout in helping provide coverage for 25 Wingate teams as a social media designer.
 
Originally from Harrisburg, N.C., Mullen was a two-time all-conference and an all-region selection as a libero for the Wingate volleyball team. She earned three South Atlantic Conference (SAC) Defensive Player of the Week awards. Over her five-year playing career, she played in 125 matches and amassed over 1,300 career digs in helping the Bulldogs capture six conference championships and an NCAA Southeast Regional title.
 
Mullen is a 2023 graduate of Wingate with a bachelor's degree in sport management and is expected to earn her master's degree in sport management in August 2024.
 
Mullen comes from a football family as her father, Jeff Mullen, was the former offensive coordinator and QB coach at Charlotte with previous coaching stops at Ohio, Wake Forest, and West Virginia. She also has ties to WCU as her older brother Nate Mullen finished his career in a Catamount uniform as a wide receiver and team captain in 2018-19.
