Tyler Sherry enters his first season as an assistant equipment manager for football, being elevated to the position prior to the 2020.
This will mark his second season with the program after spending all of 2019 as an equipment intern with the Demon Deacons. In that role, he helped run daily practices, lead the maintenance and upkeep of helmets and shoulder pads and helped in gameday responsibilities including CoachComm.
Prior to arriving in Winston-Salem, Sherry worked with Washington State as the head student assistant for film. He spent three seasons with the Cougars football team from 2016-18, traveling to away contests and filming daily practices and drills.
Sherry earned his bachelor’s degree in sport management with a minor in business and communications in 2019.
