Jasmine Perkins joined the Wake Forest women's basketball staff as the Director of Basketball Operations in July 2021.
In this role, she will oversee all day-to-day operations of the Demon Deacons women’s basketball program as well as coordinating all team travel.
In her first season on campus, Wake Forest made its second consecutive trip to postseason play, advancing to the second round of the WNIT. Additionally for the third consecutive season, the Demon Deacons advanced in the ACC Tournament, defeating Virginia in the opening round.
Perkins joined the Demon Deacons after spending the last two seasons as a graduate assistant at Georgetown University, serving in various roles including strategic cultural development and academics. Additionally during her time in the Nation’s Capital, she worked as an operations intern for the Washington Football Team, serving in various gameday roles including improving operational efficiency and guest experience
Prior to moving to Washington D.C., Perkins was a standout midfielder on the Bulldogs’ lacrosse team. As a senior, she recorded a team-leading 19 caused turnovers and was tied for fourth on the team with 21 ground balls.
Off the field, Perkins founded and is currently the president of Words of Knowledge Empower (WOKE) Athletes creating a network of student-athletes dedicated to the enhancement of diversity and inclusion within Bryant Athletics.
Perkins received her bachelor's degree in communications from Bryant in 2019 and is currently pursuing her master's degree in sports industry management with an expected graduation in 2021 from Georgetown.
