Kaley Fountain, one of the most accomplished players in Wake Forest women[apos]s soccer history, joins the coaching staff for the 2010 season while she completes her undergraduate degree. Fountain turned in one of the best seasons ever by a Demon Deacon in 2009, tying the school record with 32 points, and scoring 11 goals, good for fourth in the Wake Forest single-season record books.
The Austin, Texas native was a three-time All-ACC selection, making the first team in 2009, and was named an All-American by the NSCAA and Soccer America in 2009.
Fountain was drafted by FC Gold Pride in the second round of the 2010 Women[apos]s Professional Soccer draft. She played in 10 WPS games in 2010 - five for FC Gold Pride and five for the Atlanta Beat.
