Annette Medalie joined Wake Forest Athletics in November, 2019 from UNC Asheville where she had spent the past three years as the assistant athletic director for business operations and finance.Â
During her time with Bulldogs, Medalie served as the primary leader and manager of the daily operations and administration of all athletic business activities including forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Medalie was a member of AD Janet R. Cone's Senior Staff and served as the sport administrator for women's golf. Â
A native of Waverly, N.Y., Medalie brings a wealth of experience to her new role as she was also a business manager at the College of Charleston and an assistant athletic director at Northeastern University before taking over her role at UNC Asheville.
Before her time at the College of Charleston, Medalie earned her master's degree in business administration from Florida Atlantic. She also brings valuable knowledge from starting her career as an auditor with Deloitte and Touche in Stamford, Conn., for two years before joining Exsif Worldwide as an accountant in Purchase, N.Y., from 2007-2008.
Medalie finished her undergraduate studies in 2004 with a bachelor's of science degree in accounting and finance from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University in Syracuse, N.Y.
