Chris Williams is in his second season at Wake Forest in 2015-16 as the Director of Turf Management. Williams is responsible for overseeing the upkeep and maintenance of all athletic turf.
Prior to joining the Demon Deacons, Williams served as the Manager of Grounds for the Boston Red Sox.
A native of Hattiesburg, Miss. Williams graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1998 with a bachelor of science degree in recreation administration. He also earned a bachelor of science degree in agronomy, with an emphasis in sports turf management, from Mississippi State University in 2002.
Chris resides in Clemmons with his wife, Meghan, and two daughters, Reese and Ruby.
