Christia Fisher serves in the Student-Athlete Services office as an Assistant Director and Academic Counselor.
A native of Chapel Hill, N.C., Fisher is the academic counselor for the baseball, men's tennis and volleyball.Â
Fisher earned her B.A. in history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1986. She then went on to earn a pair of master's degrees from Wake Forest, an M.A. in history in 1992 and an M.A. in religion in 1997.
Prior to joining the athletic department, Fisher served as the assistant director of merit-based scholarships and also worked in the office of development and the office of financial aid. Fisher served as a tutor with student-athlete services prior to joining the office full-time.
Fisher lived and worked in Boston before moving to Winston-Salem.
Fisher has three children, two of whom attend Wake Forest: Rand, Linden and Leah. The family resides in Winston-Salem.
