Dr. John Hubbard is a board-certified orthopaedic sports medicine surgeon with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and a Team Physician for Wake Forest University Athletics. He specializes in sports-related shoulder, knee, hip, and elbow injuries, providing surgical and non-surgical care with a focus on safe return-to-play and long-term joint health.

Dr. Hubbard is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and serves as Director of Sports Medicine for undergraduate athletics. He works collaboratively with athletic trainers, physical therapists, and performance staff to deliver coordinated, athlete-centered care. Through Wake Forest Sports Medicine and Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, Dr. Hubbard delivers elite orthopaedic care that supports their high performing student-athletes.
