Elizabeth Goodwin joined the student-athlete services department in August 2022. She works directly with the Demon Deacon football program, in which she is responsible for monitoring the academic performance of student-athletes and helping them to fulfill their undergraduate academic requirements. She also assists with coordinating study halls, tutors and aids in the development of time management skills for student-athletes.
Goodwin joined student-athlete services after serving as an academic counselor and lecturer at NC A&T where she worked from 2018 to 2022.
She got her start in the academic services space in 2016 at UNC-Asheville and later went on to work at both Winthrop and Memphis.
During her time as a student at North Carolina, she worked with both the football and men’s basketball programs, serving in different roles.
Brewer graduated from North Carolina in 2014 with a B.A. in Psychology & EXSS Sports Administration before going on to earn her Master’s from Miami University in Kinesiology in 2016.
