Jalen Bean was hired as Wake Forest men's basketball video coordinator ahead of the 2026-27. In his role, Bean will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the men’s basketball staff, both on and off the court, assisting in scouting and film analysis for the Demon Deacons while also creating social media content.

Bean arrived in Winston-Salem following three seasons on staff at Ole Miss as assistant video coordinator, where he helped lead the Rebels to the Sweet Sixteen during the 2024-25 season.

With the Rebels, Bean supervised filming of team practices, edited game and practice film, organized and purchased video equipment and assisted the coaching staff with scouting and recruiting efforts. Additionally, Bean assisted head coach Chris Beard and his staff with in-game challenges and appeals.

Prior to his time in Oxford, Bean was a student assistant coach at Southwest Mississippi State Community College.

Bean earned a pair of degrees from Ole Miss, receiving his undergraduate degree in Multidisciplinary Studies and a master’s in Sports Administration.
