Nia Randall joined the Demon Deacons as a graduate manager ahead of the 2021-22 season. After two years in that position, Randall was elevated to the position of Assistant Director of Student Athlete Success ahead of the 2023-24 season.
In the role of Assistant Director of Student Athlete Success, Randall will assist in opportunities for play growth off the floor including mentorship and community service outings. During her first year in the role, the team saw an increase in community service opportunities while also having the highest team GPA in program history with 3.35.
She came to Winston-Salem after spending three seasons as a a student assistant at Northwestern State where she helped in a variety of roles. Her duties in the role included establishing clear benchmarks for performance while monitoring individual and team progress, maintaining equipment, handling recruiting databases, mail outs, and emails and organizing travel arrangements.
During the 2016-17 season, she played in 22 games, starting in 10 for Demons. She missed her final three seasons on the floor due to injury.
Randall graduated from Northwestern State with a bachelor's degree in business in 2020. Additionally, she graduated with a master's degree from Wake Forest in Sustainability in spring of 2022.
