University of Georgia
Niles Fleet joined the Demon Deacons in July, 2014. He was promoted to Associate AD, Head Athletic Trainer in Jan. 2022. Prior to that, he served as rehabilitation coordinator/ assistant athletic trainer. He oversees the Sports Medicine Department for Wake Forest Athletics and assists in rehabs and sport coverage.
Fleet joined the department after completing residency and fellowship at Duke University in 2012-14. Prior to his tenure at Duke, Fleet worked as an athletic trainer at University Hospital in Augusta, Ga., from 2009-2012.
A graduate of Georgia (B.A., exercise science and athletic training), Fleet earned his doctorate in physical therapy from the Medical College of Georgia in 2012.
A native of Dalton, Ga., Fleet and his wife, Courtney, have 3 daughters and enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible. They currently reside in Winston-Salem.
