Wake Forest To Host ACC Field Hockey Tournament

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The 1999 ACC Field Hockey Tournament will be held at Wake Forest's Kentner Stadium Nov. 4,5 and 7. There is no admission charge.
The tournament kicks off with the play in game Thursday, Nov. 4 at 4 p.m. The semifinals will be on Friday, Nov. 5 with games at 4 and 7 p.m. After taking Saturday as a practice day, the championship will be held on Sunday, Nov. 7 at 3:30 p.m.
The five ACC schools that compete in field hockey are Duke, Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia and Wake Forest. All five teams are currently ranked in the top 11 nationally.
