Wake Netter Advances To Finals Of All-American Tournament

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif.--Wake Forest freshman Adria Engel advanced to the finals of the All-American Women's Tennis Tournament on Saturday.
Engel defeated Celeste Frye of Ole Miss 6-4, 6-4 to advance to Sunday's final. In the final, she will face the tournament's top seed Zuzana Lesanarova of San Diego. With the win, Engel becomes the first Wake Forest player to ever reach the final of the All-American Tournament.
On Friday night, Engel defeated Laura Granville of Stanford 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 in the quarterfinals to get to Saturday's semifinal match.
