WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The Wake Forest field hockey team jumped from 11th to seventh in this week's National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) poll. Wake's move back into the top 10 comes as a result of its upset win of second-ranked North Carolina on Saturday, Oct. 2.

With North Carolina's loss, Maryland heads the list of ranked ACC teams at number two. North Carolina dropped to fifth, Wake is seventh, Virginia is ranked eighth and Duke is currently 12th.
