Men's Tennis Falls to North Carolina, 6-1

CHAPEL HILL, NC -- The North Carolina men's tennis team defeated Wake Forest on Monday afternoon, winning 6-1 in a match that had been postponed in March due to rain. North Carolina improves to 12-5 and 5-0 in the ACC while Wake Forest drops to 13-9 and 3-3 in league play.
The Tar Heels took the doubles point from the Demon Deacons, winning two of three matches. Wake's only win came at No. 1 doubles where the team of Myles Clouston and Raul Munoz continued their stellar play and defeated Robert Tedesco and Tony Thomas of UNC, 8-6.
North Carolina took five of six singles flights to capture the match. Wake Forest's lone win came at No. 4 singles where Raul Munoz downed Thomas, 6-4, 6-3.
Wake Forest will return to action on Friday when the Deacs host NC State at 2 p.m.
