Women's Tennis Regional Indoor Championship Set

WINSTON-SALEM, NC - Wake Forest's Mariel Verban and Duke's Karen Goldstein will play for the Southeast Regional Indoor Singles Championship on Monday at 9 a.m. Both were victorious in quarterfinal and semifinal matches today. Verban is the tournament's number two seed, while Goldstein is the number six seed.
Verban advanced with victories over the number three and number eight seeds, while Goldstein defeated teammate and top seed Megan Miller in the quarterfinals.
On the doubles side, it will be Duke against Kentucky for the championship. The Blue Devils third seeded team of Kathy Sell and Megan Miller will face UK's fourth seeded squad of Christy Sigurski and Brooke Skeen. The match will begin immediately following the singles championship match.
