Women's Volleyball Recovers to Down UNCG

WINSTON-SALEM, NC --- After dropping the first game of a four mach set, Wake Forest (4-1) recovered to take three straight from UNC Greensboro (0-1) at Reynolds Gym on Tuesday night, 3-1.
Junior Amber Grahn (Louisville, Ill.) recorded a double-double with a season high 57 assists and 14 digs. Also registering season high in digs was junior Sharon Harmsworth (Wadena, Saskatchewan, Canada) who registered 14 as well. She recorded a season high 10 kills. Sophomore Corie Miles (Englewood, Colo.) led the Deacons with 12 kills. Despite committing 26 errors, WFU managed 67 kills and finished with an attack percentage of .265.
The Deacons will travel to Minneapolis, Minn. this weekend to participate in the Nike Challenge. WFU will take on Oregon at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11. The next day Missouri and Minnesota will serve as the Deacons opposition.
