
Wake Baseball To Host Campbell In Home Opener

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest baseball team, ranked 25th by Baseball America, will host the Campbell Camels in the Deacons' home opener on Tuesday.
Wake comes into the contest with a 1-2 record after opening the season at the ACC-Disney Blast in Orlando, Fla. The Deacs fell to defending national champion Miami and 23rd-ranked Central Florida before defeating 14th-ranked Rice. The game will be the season opener for Campbell. Wake leads the all-time series with Campbell 20-9. The Deacs have won the last six meetings between the two teams.
The first pitch of the game is set for 2:30 p.m. at Hooks Stadium. Admission for Tuesday's game is free.
