- WFU senior guard Kristen Shaffer scored a career high 26 points and tied a school record by hitting 5-of-5 three pointers. Heidi Coleman set the record on Dec. 17, 1997 versus James Madison. It also marked the first time in Shaffer's career that she has hit more than one three-pointer in a game.
- WFU senior Olivia Dardy recorded her second double-double of the season with a season-high 17 points and 13 rebounds. She is now tied for sixth all time at Wake Forest with 10 career double-doubles.
- Florida State's 34.9 shooting percentage was their second-lowest performance of the season. The Seminoles, who entered the game shooting 46 percent, was held to 31.4 percent against Duke earlier this season.
- Wake Forest went to the free throw line a season-high 43 times against Florida State, and connected on 25 of their shots (also a season high). Olivia Dardy hit eight of her 10 attempts, a single-game high for Wake Forest this season.
- WFU's 45.1 shooting percentage was its best performance since shooting 46 percent against New Orleans on Dec. 19 of this season.
- Wake Forest's win today gives the Deacons their ninth win of the year. It also marks the most wins in a single season for head coach Charlene Curtis at WFU, now in her fourth season with the Deacs.
