Winston-Salem, NC -- The Wake Forest baseball team will close the book on fall practice this weekend with the Black & Gold series beginning Wednesday afternoon with a 4:00 p.m. intrasquad scrimmage at Hooks Stadium.

In game one of the best-of-three sophomore Kyle Sleeth and freshman Tim Morley will take the hill. Sleeth is coming off an all-star summer in the Cape Cod League and Morley is a highly-touted rookie who was a 17th round draft pick of the Pittsburgh Pirates.

On Friday, the team will participate in Scout Day before the series continues on Saturday and Sunday with 12:30 p.m. start times. All games are free and open to the public.

The Deacons are coming off their third ACC Championship in four seasons.
