Deacon Debuts: Tonight marked the first game at Wake Forest for coach Skip Prosser, junior Steve Lepore and freshmen Taron Downey, Vytas Danelius and Jamaal Levy. Lepore was playing his first college basketball game since March of 2000 when he was a sophomore starter at Northwestern.

Speaking of Scott, while he played in his 96th career game, he started for just the fourth time and for the first time since his freshman season of 1998-99. Broderick Hicks scored in double figures for the 17th time. Hicks scored his 500th career point tonight.

Trifectas: Craig Dawson has now made three or more three-point field goals in a game 21 times in his career. He entered the game with 155 career three-pointers and is well on his way to becoming just the fourth player in Wake history to make 200 career treys.

Career-Highs: Craig Dawson's five three-point field goals were a career high. Previously, his career best was four three-point field goals, which he had achieved nine different times before tonight.
